Scenario

Many a thirsty people have shed tears -
Not that they had surplus fluid;
Nor that they had something to show
To the world at large.

Perhaps tears are drops of perspiration
Produced by the muscles of heart;
Uncannily finding their way thro! the eyes:
Expressing grief, sorrow, passion or joy -
Which have exercised the heart.

Very seldom I have shed tears -
Not that my heart does not perspire;
Nor that these tears do not find way to my eyes.

Looking at the world, my eyes have become dry -
Small shady spots in the sands of time.
Whatever drops do reach my eyes:
Get absorbed, get lost or at the most
My eye balls float in water for a while,
And they are dry again,
To have a look at the world afresh.
