Grieve Not!

Grieve not
As you say 'adieu'
to the world where you blossomed,
Learnt to play with pebbles & stones;
you were the cynosure of loving eyes
Then softly, slowly, you merged
With the turbulent stream
of Material world -
The World of pursuits,
aspirations for a new life:
Vibrant, gushing, jubilant
A dream world where
to live was heaven.
The force of Nature was within you
Compelling you on to dizzy heights
The vigour, the heroic strength
Imperceptably
Subside, fade
And lo! you find, nay feel
Becoming part of Nature
- the nature of your dreams,
Harking to its monotones
Like a driftwood in Sonorous Streams
you drift on and on
And say Goodbye!
