The Gaze

I gazed and gazed at the sky;
The mighty cauldron reaching unto infinity.
The abode and burial ground
of heavenly bodies - a cosmic spectre.
Immense energy enlocked in
Billions and trillions of stars -
The life givers and takers,
Burning themselves to glory
In their long pursuit,
Shrouded in divine mystery
Incomprehensible, awe-inspiring, dazzling
In the Nature's unbound kingdom.
